The Miami International Arbitration Center (MIAC), an institution of the Latin Chamber of Commerce of the United States (CAMACOL), headquartered at 1401 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33135, United States of America..
Our function is to provide administrative services for domestic and international arbitrations submitted to our jurisdiction. We also provide specialized arbitration services in domestic commercial arbitration, international commercial arbitration, maritime arbitration, environmental arbitration, investment arbitration, sports arbitration, technology arbitration, and other specialized matters.
Furthermore, MIAC promotes the dissemination of knowledge, academic research, certification, and continuing education in arbitration, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), Dispute Boards, and international trade worldwide, by fostering relationships between institutions and members of the arbitration community in the United States and abroad.
MIAC’s mission is to facilitate the effective resolution of disputes through the efficient, agile, and transparent administration of arbitration proceedings and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, respecting party autonomy and promoting specialized solutions aimed at strengthening commercial relationships at both the national and international levels, based on technical standards and international best practices.
MIAC conducts its activities in accordance with strict ethical standards set forth in its Code of Ethics, guiding its institutional conduct on the basis of integrity, independence, impartiality, prevention of conflicts of interest, and professional conduct, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and trust in the administration of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
